Performance aspect of NVME vs Normal SSD

    How do you compare the two ?
    I need a vps for my wordpress.

    Please Advise.

    I only see the nVME but more sensibly for multi core advanced processing like the i9, used for engineering design!

    NVMe has far more I/O operations per second compared to a normal SSD and usually lower/same latency rates as compared to a SSD, but it really all depends on your website, how many visitors, plugins etc it's got. If it's a heavy website with a lot of visitors or plugins+visitors, you could directly look at NVMe based services as they are getting cheaper/similar rate as a SSD based service. The only catch being often, NVMe based services have a lower disk allocation compared to normal SSD based services, so your websites disk usage (Database size too!) would be quite important to know as well.

    If you've got a lot of attachments, images etc, you may need to split up the website, host the main website on a NVMe and serve the attachments/files from a storage VPS or normal SATA based service where disk space is cheaper/larger allocation.
